give strength to those medical personnel who care for them;

and comfort their families during this time of deep stress.

Welcome into the peace of your kingdom those who have died, 

and console the loved ones of those lost to this disease.

Give wisdom to those working to eradicate this scourge,

and help us all to persevere in faith 

throughout this time of tribulation.

Keep us all in your merciful love.

we ask this through Christ, our Lord.
